The newest department in the Zrenjanin National Museum is the Photo Library, which was officially established in 2019.

Our museum has an enviable number of negatives that preserve the history and culture of our region from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day. Scenes and portraits of notable personalities as well as civil families, the appearance of our city that changed over time, industry, scenes from everyday life are just some of the contents of the photo-material. Thanks to the eyes of the photographers who recorded the above, these photographs have become an important document that is a witness of a time.

The collection consists of a large number of negatives and positives, divided into several types and categories, sorted by departments – Archeological, Ethnological, Historical and Artistic, as well as photos from the opening of exhibitions and accompanying events within the Museum’s work from the seventies to the nineties of the last century.
