Sanja Vrzić graduated in Oriental Philology from the Faculty of Philology of the University of Belgrade. After several years of work experience as a journalist and correspondent in written and electronic media, she has since September 2005 worked in public relations at the National Museum in Zrenjanin. During her tenure, The National Museum of Zrenjanin was the winner of the “Golden Drum” award for 2006, awarded by Zrenjanin journalists and marketing experts gathered at the Most Media Agency, for successful cooperation with the media and publicization of the Museum’s activities during 2006. In June 2007, she acquired the title of Curator with her treatise “Public Relations in the Work of the National Museum Zrenjanin on the Example of the Exhibition of Paintings by Vladimir Veličković.”
During 2014, she was the manager of the project “Audio-video Guide through the Permanent Exhibition of the National Museum Zrenjanin,” which was financed by an international humanitarian organization – the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. The guide, installed on tablet devices, is intended for the blind and partially-sighted as well as for deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors, but it is also available to the general visitors. The guide application includes video files about the museum and its permanent display in sign language, as well as text and audio files in Serbian and English. At the interregional conference “Balkan Museums without Barriers” held in Sarajevo in 2014, among 27 projects, the audio-video guide through the permanent exhibition of the Zrenjanin Museum was declared the third best project. In June 2015, Sanja Vrzić acquired the title of Senior Curator with her treatise “Public Relations – the Application of New Technologies in Communication with the Public and the Media on the Example of the National Museum Zrenjanin.”
