Ivana Arađan

Ivana Arađan was born in Zrenjanin and completed her undergraduate and master’s academic studies at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, Department of Art History, under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Nenad Makuljevic. Her professional engagement at the National Museum in Zrenjanin began in May 2013. After passing the professional exam, in 2014 she acquired the title of Curator, with her treatise: “Works of Photographers from Bečkerek in the collections of the Department of the National Museum Zrenjanin.” Since 2014, she has been engaged in the programs of the National Museum of Zrenjanin through the organization of guest exhibitions, expert guidance and interpretation of the permanent exhibition, and organizing author’s exhibitions, presentations, lectures, and other programs. Since 2020, she has been the Coordinator of the Pedagogical-Information Service of the Museum, and is in charge of the designing, organizing, and implementing of educational programs for children and youth, as well as of expert guidance and interpretation of exhibitions and permanent exhibitions of the National Museum Zrenjanin.

In her professional work, Ivana Arađan is actively engaged in research and the presentation of national visual heritage. She writes professional texts in the field of history of national fine arts, photography, and museology, while also actively participates as an exhibitor at scientific and professional conferences.
