Biljana Dimkić Krčmar graduated in Art History from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, Department of Art History with with her thesis “Aleksandar Sekulić (1877-1942) – Legacy of the National Museum Zrenjanin.” She has been engaged in the activities of the National Museum of Zrenjanin since 2008: first as a volunteer, then employed on a part-time basis, and since 2012 as a permanent staff member. In May 2013, after passing the professional exam, she acquired the title of Curator. She has worked within the Pedagogical-Information Service as a Curator and Art Historian-Pedagogue, and September 2016 became Head of the Collection of Applied Arts. Biljana Dimkić Krčmar is a member of the Museum Society of Serbia and the Section of Art Historians of the Museum Society of Serbia.
