An exhibition of works by Jelena Stašević, academic painter, is to be available to visitors from April 13 to May 7, 2021 in the Small Salon of the National Museum in Zrenjanin.
The curator is Biljana Dimkić Krčmar, art historian.
Jelena Stašević was born in Belgrade in 1979. She graduated in painting at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in the class of Prof. Vlade Rančić, and went on to complete her master’s degree in painting with the same professor. She has been a member of ULUPUDS (Udruženje likovnih umetnika primenjenih umetnosti i dizajnera Srbije – The Applied Artists and Designers Association of Serbia) since 2008, and has had the status of an independent artist since 2010. She has been a member of the Graphic Collective since 2019 and has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
