From Tuesday, April 27, 2021, in the Hall of the National Museum in Zrenjanin, the exhibition “Art Dialogue – Photographs by Vukica Mikača and Pastels by Dejan S. Bogojević” will be on display. The exhibition includes 14 works of art – seven photographs and seven pastels. According to art historian Dr. Zoja Bojić, the exhibition “Art Dialogue” is a collection of works by the featured authors that could just as well be called “living nature” for the way in which it exudes life. The fruits of the palm tree in gorgeous shots (photographs) and the depictions (pastel collection) together form a unique theme of depicting what is alive, what is breathing. Combined, these works represent the harmonious symbiosis, artistic compatibility, and witty dialogue between photographers and painters, and invite and compel the viewer to admire and marvel at the world around us.
The exhibition is organized by the National Museum of Zrenjanin in cooperation with the Photographic Documentation Center of Zrenjanin. The exhibition is planned to be on display until May 8, 2021. The curator is Ivana Arađan, art historian.
